What do you know about living

and non-living things?

Living things are alive which is sometimes easy to see - e.g. a dog - and at other times difficult to tell; e.g. a seed.

All living things are made up of one or more cells. A cell is a basic unit of life. Some things are made up of one cell, like bacteria, while others are made up of trillions of cells. Human beings are made up of cells, too!

Non-living things do not reproduce. This means that they can't create similar organisms to themselves. Non-living things do not need air, food or water to survive.
